ink on silk

This work references a caca (also known as tsa-tsa) made in Mongolia around the 19th–20th century. The original object, about 3 cm high and 3 cm in diameter, was pressed from a clay mold.
Depicting a stupa in relief, it served as a votive object for the accumulation of merit and prayer, reflecting the clay offering traditions commonly found in Tibetan Buddhist regions.
